Write for us

Everyday Racing Review welcomes clear, original pitches that help readers understand motor racing beyond the finishing order. Send proposals through the Contact page, with enough detail for us to see the subject and approach.

What we welcome

We consider explainers, comparisons, histories and focused guides to race formats, circuit features, event procedures, timing and racecraft. Strong proposals address one useful question and make the answer relevant beyond a single headline or result.

What makes a good pitch

Briefly state the working subject, the central point, the intended reader and why the piece adds something distinct to our coverage. Note the kind of sources or materials you would use, and disclose any relevant commercial or personal interest. Do not send confidential information or claim access you cannot share.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page and select the editorial reason for writing. A proposal is not a commission, and we may ask for more detail before deciding whether it fits. Please do not send a complete unsolicited article unless requested.

Our point of view

A result is only the end of the story.

We look at the format, setting and decisions that give a race its shape. Knowing what to notice makes following the action more rewarding.
