Editorial policy
Everyday Racing Review aims to explain motor racing accurately and fairly. We make the reasoning behind a piece visible, correct mistakes openly and distinguish editorial work from material created with partners.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources available to the editor and take care with rules, terminology and descriptions of racing formats. Where details can change or depend on a particular series, we say so rather than presenting one case as universal. Analysis and opinion are framed as such.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise favourable coverage in return for payment, access or support.
Corrections
If a reader spots a material error, they can contact us with the article title and the passage in question. We review the issue and amend the text when warranted, making clear corrections where the change affects a reader’s understanding.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-created material is clearly identified as partner material and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is labelled accordingly.
A result is only the end of the story.
We look at the format, setting and decisions that give a race its shape. Knowing what to notice makes following the action more rewarding.
